A few days ago, the Federal Court of Australia dismissed a lawsuit from a man accused of selling counterfeit erectile dysfunction drugs, including Viagra and Levitra. The man is now facing a class-action lawsuit pending in the state court.
According to the suit, Mr Vibon had been selling a fake erectile dysfunction medication known as "Vilmo" in the early morning hours of December 26th, 2007. When he arrived at the store, he saw a man sitting at the counter, looking for a way out of the marketplace. He took out a small blue tablet and was told to take it for sale, and that it was "very, very good".
The man then took the tablet, looked at the man and said, "This is Viagra. This is Levitra. This is Cialis. These are all the drugs that have the word 'VIAGRA'. We have a lot of counterfeit drugs in our store."
The man was also ordered to stop taking the tablets. He said, "I have a lot of fake Viagra, and it is very, very difficult to keep up with them."
